Although part of old Aleppo it is still far more modern than the first main city which includes Bagdad Station which is directly to the left of Sulaymania. This area is the site of Al Touhid Mosque which is well known.

The area has many housing due to the very dense population who also enjoy high standards of living and many shops nearby in the city centre.

Marjorjos Park:
This public park opposite Al Touhid Mosque is similar to all the traditonal parks in Syria with brightly lit water fountains in the middle surrounded by seating areas and childrens play areas on the periphery.
Literally almost like a more modern Bagdad Station to visit but it has public parks which are widely popular in Aleppo.
